Mark Achler is a Chicago-based venture capitalist, entrepreneur, educator, and author whose career has mirrored the arc of the modern technology industry itself, from the earliest days of the personal computer to the AI-native startups reshaping the Midwest today. He has spent more than forty years at the intersection of innovation and company building: launching category-defining products, founding companies, running innovation inside large organizations, investing in the next generation of founders, and teaching what he has learned to thousands of students and entrepreneurs along the way.

Mark's career spans more than four decades and nearly every role in the technology industry. He introduced the Apple //c to dealer networks at Apple, co-founded and sold The Whitewater Group to Symantec, co-founded Kinesoft (one of Softbank's first US partnerships), co-founded Kettle Partners VC, served as President of Emmi Solutions, and led new business and innovation at Redbox as SVP of Strategy, Innovation and New Business. In 2014 he co-founded MATH Venture Partners, where he invests today.
